Well the fiance and I decided to start a vegetable garden from seed at the spur of the moment. Seriously, we walked past some seeds and were like hey let’s do that. Neither of us has any gardening experience, but we have become overly fond of our seedling babies. We have likely bitten off more than we can chew, as at last count we had more than 27 vegetable varieties, but we are so excited. I’m not sure what we’re going to plant into, or what is going to survive to transplant status, but I’ve been gathering ideas. We want to keep this as cheap and portable/abandonable as possible. We’re not sure how much longer we’re going to be living in our current home. Therefore we don’t want to invest into something we can’t take with us. I have been scouring the internet for gardening advice and ideas, and I stumbled upon FarmTina– I LOVE this chick. Her posts are so funny, interesting, and informative. She has successfully created a ‘farm’ in a tiny apartment “yard” in NYC, how cool is that? Anyway, I’m currently addicted to her blog. Check it out! Any ideas on cheap containers? Or like how to magically poof money into existence? Either would be appreciated!
